Butch & Kenny, the slave drivers, insisted that we start on the great room ceiling so off we went. Or up is what I should say. This stuff is harder to put on than it looks. Some of these boards really have character. Because of this "character", Butch built a mechanical device from parts and pieces of a studebaker, rambler, chevy head bolts, and some John Deere grain drill parts, that latches on to the 2x4 rafters and forces the T&G into place. Pretty slick device that he should probably patent.
